Not shocking, H e wasn’t likely qualify for the November debate, which marks him as having basically no chance. Castro and Gabbard are looking like they’ll be in that situation as well, with Castro presumably dropping out. Gabbard seems to want to keep fighting and has enough out-of mainstream support she can probably afford to do so (though she’s already dropped out of her House race where she faced a primary challenge.)
In any event, I think Beto can still be relevant, but I think he needs to do more, it will be interesting to see what he does next.

I wish. But it’d be pretty bad form to jump in and take away from the candidate he’s already endorsed.

Much like Yang, I don’t know why O’Rourke even tried. Not that I particularly care. I just sometimes wonder if certain candidates really believe they can make a go of it or if they’re using a run as part of some bigger plan .

He was 10th in Q3 fundraising, and I assume his numbers were trending downward. He did have enough donors to make the December debate, but he wasn’t polling high enough to make November happen. At some point, people cut off funding for the also rans when it becomes clear they can’t win. And we are going to see it happen to others soon I suspect. Realistically probably only Biden, Warren, and Sanders can win at this point. Maybe if Biden collapses completely there is room for Buttigieg, Harris, or Klobuchar, but in the past quarter century of primaries, the winner has never had less than 15% in the polls and those candidates are hovering around 5% (Buttigieg is sometimes as high as 10%, but those seem to be outliers).
